Cult Nails I Got Distracted (Photo Heavy)

Cult Nails I Got Distracted is from their summer Untamed collection, and all of the colors were designed by Maria of Cult Nails' daughter Coco. Let me tell you, this girl has talent when it comes to polish. Although not your typical Cult Nails shades, Untamed has bright colors, shimmers, and glitter like crazy. I Got Distracted being the glitter star of the bunch!

I Got Distracted is a black jelly base loaded with both large and small dark green glitter as well as holographic glitter. Let me tell you, this polish is gorgeous! It looks even more stunning in person than it does in the photos. There is so much depth to the polish I think I could just stare at it for hours. I'm not a black polish kind of girl, I like vivid reds and royal blue, but this is a black I am comfortable wearing, with all of the green glitter the polish almost looks dark green from a distance. I love it!

What I didn't love quite as much was the formula. The formula was a bit difficult for me, it was very thick and I had trouble getting it to go where I wanted. However, you only need a single coat for it to be opaque and have this level of depth! For my mani, I added a second coat so that I could wrap my tips (I know what you're thinking.. what tips?) and smooth out the edges. It dried relatively quickly and a bit rough, so I suggest topping it off with Gelous before your normal top coat.
