Do you ever find a nail polish that you adore even though it doesn't look very good with your skintone? That was me with Butter London Trustafarian. I love the pale grass green and subtle holo of Trustafarian, but it's yellow tone doesn't work with my warm skin tone, particularly with a bit of a summer tan.
Butter London describes Trustafarian as sage green with a golden holographic finish, which is an absolutely a perfect description. The formula was very smooth but a bit sheer, I used three coats for an opaque finish.
Just look at that subtle gorgeous holo! I've wanted this polish since it was first released so I know I'm going to keep wearing it, even if it makes my skin look sallow! It's a very different color in my collection (I own very few greens) and I will continue to love it, even if I'm appreciating the bottle itself.
Do you wear polishes that aren't so flattering?
