Butter London Pillar Box Red

Oh I'm a bad blogger. I can't believe it's been a week since the last time I had a chance to post! Time always seems to fly around the holidays, doesn't it? There's always more to do than there are hours in the day to get things done!

Today I have another flawless, beautiful red for you. I may seem to say that about every red that I swatch, but this red is a classic.

This is Butter London Pillar Box Red, a smooth, gorgeous red creme. It's a bright, true red that leans just a bit blue. For these photos I used two smooth coats with Seche Vite topcoat. The formula is a bit thinner than other red cremes I've used, but it was highly pigmented and I didn't have any issues with it wanting to pool at my cuticles (these photos are without clean-up). I find that the Butter London Formula is largely hit or miss, some people love it, others hate it. I'm definitely a lover!

Are you pulling out your favorite reds for this holiday season?

  1. One of my favourite reds!! I wore this just last week, and I fall head over heels for it every time I put it on!
