I love KBShimmer, you love KBShimmer. We all love KBShimmer! Every season, I am always excited to see what they have in store for us. This summer, we have a nice mixture of finishes and colors. There is deinifitely something for everyone here. They have added three new creme shades, two new crellies, two new birthstone finishes, two holographic shades and three shimmers. There are a few brights and neons as well as softer girly shades. There are 12 polishes total, so be prepared for lots of photos after the break.

Gull, Get Real is one of the new editions to the birthstone collection (see my review here). These polishes have a tinted jelly base packed with silver flakes and holographic sparkle. This shade has a lilac purple jelly base that gets more of a steel feel with the silver flakes added in. Very pretty and super sparkly. I did two coats topped with Clearly On Top.
One Night Sand is the other birthstone like finish. I really love this one! The jelly base is a brassy rose gold shade that really gives a cool effect to the silver flakes. The holographic sparkle also looks really nice against this base color. Nice formula here. I used two coats with Clearly On Top.
How Low Can You Flamingo is a super bright, flamingo pink creme in the always amazing KBShimmer creme formula. This is practically a neon pink but it isn't sheer or matte. I can't wait to use this for my next pedicure. It is just the perfect color for summer. It might not be super unique but the formula is great. This is two coats with Clearly On Top.
Ready For a Good Lime is another one of the new cremes. I would call this a pastel neon (or is it a neon pastel? idk). It is super bright but still a light shade. It was really difficult to capture this color. It looks different in real life, on my camera, on my phone, on my laptop and on my desktop. It's a pastel lime green with a great formula. If you like green, you will like this I promise. Here, I am showing you two coats with Clearly On Top.
Playing With the Buoys is another new creme shade. This is a dusty blue toned sea foam green. It is very soft and relaxing. Even for a lighter color like this, the formula was still nice and opaque. I did two coats topped with Clearly On Top here.
Don't Play Koi is a new addition to KBShimmer's many white crelly polishes. The white crelly base is just like you would expect, super squishy and smooth to apply. I really love the color combo of the glitters in this polish: coral, grey and aqua. They go so well together! But I did have to fish for the glitters a little bit to get the amount that I wanted on the nail. Here is three coats with Clearly On Top.
Neon Me is another white crelly. It is just perfect for summer! The white crelly base makes a perfect canvas for the neon dot glitters. Again, the glitters were a little shy to come out of the bottle but the sparser glitters look good on the nail. I did three coats with Clearly On Top.
Along For the Tide is a stunner! This is a bright cobalt blue with an amazing micro fleck shimmer that shifts from pink to blue along with a holographic shimmer. So, so pretty! Application was smooth and even. I did two coats with Clearly On Top. I didn't have any obvious staining but I haven't worn this for a full manicure yet.
That's Nude To Me is the perfect wedding polish. It is a blush colored nude with a sift linear holographic shimmer. I just love a neutral, work appropriate nail polish that has a little bit extra something special. The formula was awesome and I only needed two coats for full opacity. Topped with Clearly On Top.
Mai Tai One On is one of the new shimmers. It is a buttery yellow creme jam packed with golden microshimmer. This formula is a little tricky. Yellow polishes are notoriously a pain, they are streaky and take several coats to get opaque usually. This one did need three coats to get opaque and it was a little uneven. Once you get a glossy top coat on, it all evens out nicely and the end result is good. I really like the shimmer here.
Good Reef! is another new shimmer. This one had a similar formula to the yellow but self leveled much better. The base color is a soft, pinky coral and the shimmer is a nice blue/pink color. This shade makes me think of pink lemonade! I did three coats with Clearly On Top for this swatch.
Suit the Breeze is the last shimmer in this collection. It is a bright cornflower blue with a nice pink microshimmer. This one had the best formula of all three of the shimmers. I really like the combo of blue and pink. I did two coats with Clearly On Top.
Also new for the summer, is this new scent! Margarita Lime smells just like margarita mix (without the tequila smell). They have this scent available in mani shots, sugar scrub and hand lotion. You need to smell this one!
So, what do you think of this summer collection? I really like it. The shimmers were a little disappointing formula wise but I enjoyed all of the colors. My faves are That's Nude To Me and One Night Sand. How many of you already knew those would be my faves? All of these polishes sell for $9.25 each. KBShimmer is really great about keep stock available at all times. Some polishes to eventually retire but you will have plenty of time to snag the ones you want. Which ones will you be picking up?
