Pahlish - Hothouse Flowers

Hi pals!

I have another colorful collection from Pahlish to share with you all today.  The Hothouse Flowers collection released earlier this month and it is filled will pretty jelly and crelly polishes inspired by tropical flowers.  There are some classic Pahlish shades in this collection which I just love.  Let's take a look at them all!

Pahlish - Hothouse Flowers - McPolish

African Moon - A soft orchid purple crelly with blue microflakies.  This color may not look that bright in my photos but it seemed very bright on my nails when I wore it as a full mani.  The formula was a little sheer but applied fabulously.  I am showing you three coats with a glossy top coat here.

Grass of the Dew - A light turquoise crelly with purple microflakies.  Another classic Pahlish polish here.  The formula was nice and smooth but I did need three coats for make it completely opaque.  I topped this off with a glossy top coat.

Balloon Flower - A soft purple leaning periwinkle crelly with pewter colored microflakies.  This is a very springtime color to me.  The formula was nice and smooth.  I am showing you three coats with a glossy top coat here.

Bromeliad - A super bright medium pink jelly/crelly with a mix of orange, pink, purple and grey flakies.  This is bright and fun for summertime.  This was a little bit on the sheer side and I needed three coats to cover my nail line.  It is super squishy though and I love that.

Blood Lily - A neon orangey coral jelly packed with pink and gold microshimmer.  Oh yes!  Bring on all of the orange polish, I will take them all.  The shimmer is pretty intense in this polish, very pretty.  It did apply a little thick and streaky with all of the shimmer but still evened out nicely with three coats and a glossy top coat.

Flame of the Forest - A rusty red jelly with lots of golden and holographic microflakie shimmer.  I see this color being a huge hit in the fall.  It is a great shade.  I did two coats here with a a glossy top coat but should have done three for more shimmer effect.  Nice squishy formula.

Moth Orchid - A deep warm purple jelly packed with holographic and red microflakie shimmer.  This is very similar in formula to the previous jelly.  I did two coats with a glossy top coat but should have done three for more even coverage.  In real life it looked just fine but with my bright photo lights it looks more sheer.  Great color though!

Rum Runner Hibiscus - A deep cobalt jelly packed with bronze, pink and purple ultrachrome flakies.  This was the most sheer out of the entire collection.  Most cobalt jelly polishes I have seen in the past all have this same formula.  You never quite get full coverage over the white tips.  Formula was nice and smooth.  I am showing you three coats with a glossy top coat here.

Fun collection, right?  I really like the bright jellies and the soft crellies.  My fave would have been Blood Lily if the formula was a little smoother.  So, my number one choice from the collection is African Moon!  Probably not the one you thought I would pick but the formula and color were just soooo good.  Which will you be picking up?  The Hothouse Flowers Collection is available from the Pahlish store right now.  Each of them sell individually for $10 or you can get all 8 in the collection for $72.
