I have another new takkito to share with you all today! Later this month, Takko Lacquer will be releasing a new collection called Gems and Crystals. With any collection of gems, you know there has to be an amethyst included! Everyone loves this sparkly purple gem. "Amethyst" is another Takko Lacquer shade utilizing the soft scattered holographic flakies that I just love. The base is a medium purple jelly, not to warm and not too cool toned. It is packed with these lovely silver holo flakies that lay nice and flat and are easy to remove. The finish is very similar to Zoya's scattered holos. If you know those shades well, it is slightly cooler toned than Aurora but not as blue toned as Finely. Which means you probably need all three in your life. :)
"Amethyst" applied very smoothly and is fairly shiny on it's own. It is on the sheer side with the jelly base. I am showing you three coats with a glossy top coat here.
The Gems and Crystals Collection is tentatively releasing on February 24th. you know that I will inform you all as soon as I get confirmation of a launch time.
