I have a very fun, very shifty collection to share with you all today. Ellagee loves to make collection based on Game of Thrones (TV show and the books) and I have covered them all here, here and here. This newest collection is a quad of multichrome shifting shimmers inspired by love matches that Laura would like to see happen in the next season of Game of Thrones (which starts in two weeks!!!). If you are a fan of the series, I want to know if you think these couples should pair up, too. Share your thought of the polishes and the show in the comments. Tarthbane - A shimmery multichrome that shifts from navy to blue to purple to violet to fuchsia with iridescent microglitter and flecks of blue. This shade is predominantly blue/purple but really gets a nice shift going at an angle. The formula is nice and easy to apply. I am showing you two coats with a glossy top coat here. The first photos are under a single direct light source while the last two are under two light sources at opposing angles to show off the shiftiness better.
This polish is for the most obvious coupling that needs to happen in the show, Brienne of Tarth and Tormund Giantsbane. Seriously, this paring need to happen. Their interactions on the show are hilarious, especially the way Tormund ogles after Brienne and she looks so annoyed. Classic!
Greyssandei - A shimmery multichrome that shifts from burgundy to red to copper to gold to green with iridescence microglitter and flecks of gold. This shade is predominantly a warm burgundy but will flash through to that golden green at an angle. Again, the formula is very nice. I am showing you two coats with glossy top coat here. All of these polishes can show brush strokes, so apply carefully.
Grey Worm and Missandei really just need to get together. Who cares if he is Unsullied! That doesn't mean they can't love each other. I think they are adorable together and according to the season 7 promos, we may get to see this pairing after all!
Gendrya - A shimmery mulichrome the shifts from taupe to tan to olive to green to teal with iridescent microglitter and flecks of pink. This shade is predominantly olive but shifts to that bright green at an angle. Nice formula on this one, too. I am showing you two coats with glossy top coat here.
What happened to Gendry?!??! We seriously need him to show back up again so him and Arya can be together. Didn't your heart just melt when he told her "No, your wouldn't be my family. You'd be my lady."? Ugh...come back Gendry!
Daenorah - A shimmery multichrome that shifts from a coppery red to bronze to gold to a hint of green with iridescent microglitter and flecks of gold. This shade is predominantly rust/copper with a golden shift. The formula a smooth on this one as well but it seemed a little bit sheerer. I am showing you three coats with a glossy top coat here.
This polish is for Daenarys Targaryen and Jorah Mormont. We all know that Jorah wants Daenarys something fierce. The idea of a book Dani and Jorah is not appealing. But the show Dani and Jorah isn't a bad idea. He just loves her so much!
Pretty pretty shifters here! My favorite is Tarthbane (I bet you thought I was going to say Daenorah!) because the shift is just so fun. Which is your favorite?
