Halloween is just around the corner! How about snagging some cool little Halloween inspired polishes from Whimsical Ideas by Pam? This collection of six shades has something for everyone. There are glitter toppers, cremes, shimmers and crellies. Some are definitely more geared toward Halloween but most of them could be worn year round. Let's take a look!
Plum Crazy - A warm berry creme. This shape is slightly vampy but still bright enough to not look black. The formula leans slightly on the crelly side...it has a little bit of a squishiness to it. For this swatch, I am showing you two coats with glossy top coat. In my photos, there are a few places that look like a third coat would be needed. But in real life I did not see these thin areas.
Ghost Stories - A clear based glitter topper with small pink, purple and charcoal hexes with a sprinkling of white ghost glitters. There was good base to glitter ratio here. I didn't have to fish for the ghost glitters either. Since they were larger, they did require a small amount of placement but it wasn't annoying. I am showing you one coat with top coat over Plum Crazy.
Sugar High - A soft white crelly loaded with a rainbow of semi sheer small and microglitters. This is a fun shade. It was surprisingly opaque for me. It is packed with glitter which can make it a little on the thick side but it was not difficult to apply. This is two coats with glossy top coat.
Kindred Spirit - A clear based glitter topper that is packed with micro cornflower blue satin glitters and tiny purple metallic glitters. This is a dense glitter! I am showing you it used as a topper but it would be very easy to get this fully opaque on the nail. Excellent glitter payoff and easy formula. This is once coat over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls with top coat.
Heebie Jeebies - A deep olive green with fiery orange/copper shimmer. Oh the shimmer is gorgeous in this one! I love the contracting colors which are perfect for fall. The formula was quite opaque and smooth to apply. I am showing you two coats with glossy top coat here. I did have yellow staining after wearing this one, so I would recommend to double up on the base coat.
Leftovers - A clear based glitter topper with holo glitters in various sizes and many fall colors. There are pale green, deep orange, brown and gold glitters in here. Nice glitter to base ratio. It would look nice over a variety of warm toned base colors. I am showing you one coat over Zoya Summer with top coat here.
