Pretty and Polished Sea Spray Swatches and Review

Today I have what might be one of my new favorite  polishes to show you! This is the gorgeous Pretty and Polished Sea Spray.

I am seriously addicted to this one guys. Sea Spray is a blue jelly base with a subtle (yet very apparent) holographic effect. This polish simply takes the cake, and might be my favorite blue of all time. For starters, the jelly base is so deep and dark yet bright and blue. The holo is beautifully linear yet takes nothing away from that deep blue base.

The formula was perfect, this is two smooth coats with top coat.

You simply have to see this one in person. If you're a blue polish lover, GO BUY IT! Seriously, buy it. Best $9 you will spend on polish.

Just look...

This is my second Pretty and Polished holo that was an instant favorite. I'm in love. Just seeing these pictures makes me want to wear this polish again and I've only just taken it off.

Sea Spray was recently released as part of True Blue Duo, but is also sold separately for $9 on the Pretty and Polished website or Pretty and Polished Etsy Store.

Pretty and Polished Happy Holodays Duo Swatches and Review

Pretty & Polished Happy Holodays Duo
It may seem a bit early to be thinking about holiday nail polish, but today I have two gorgeous colors to show you that you'll want to wear all year long! This is the Happy Holodays Duo from the indie polish brand Pretty & Polished. The duo contains two colors, Ruby, and the Glitter Topper. These polishes will be available starting November 9th from the Pretty & Polished store.

First up is the Glitter Topper, two coats over black. Glitter Topper contains small and large hexagonal glitter that are red and green in a clear base. The glitter is holographic, which is responsible for the gold you see in any pictures below. This glitter sparkles like crazy and the colors are just perfect for a holiday glitter.

Blurry to show the sparkle

Next is Ruby, the star of the show (in my opinion). Ruby is a berry-toned red jelly with scattered holographic. The color is beautiful and sophisticated, and definitely not exclusive to the holiday season. The scattered holo gives the polish incredible depth while maintaining the super shiny juicy jelly finish. Formula was superb, this is two coats that applied like butter and dried quickly.

I love seeing quality like this from an indie polish brand. These colors (and formulas) are on par with any large brand like China Glaze or OPI. These are gorgeous colors and definitely something I'll buy as a gift for the women in my family!

Pretty and Polished Jawbreaker

Jawbreaker is a sheer white creme loaded with glitter of all different colors and sizes. There's tiny purple, bigger red, yellow, and blue glitter. The glitter is a mix of circular, mini hexagons, big hexagons, big squares and tiny bar glitter. The effect of the glitter is that the polish looks exactly like its namesake: the jawbreaker candy from childhood.

(I never ate jawbreakers as a child but I remember that my friends did. Something about the drooling all over the place while attempting to eat a candy larger than my mouth never sounded appealing.)

When I say that it is a sheer white cream, I don't mean sheer, the polish was opaque in two coats, but the color is sheer enough that the glitter is clearly visible, like the perfect jelly sandwich.

I really like this polish. The color isn't stark white, it has a soft look to it. Although I didn't manage to get any of the big red squares on my nails, but I still love the way it looks. It really reminds me of jawbreaker candy, and it's so fun to look at!

As you can tell I just couldn't get enough pictures of this one...

Pretty and Polished is available on Etsy and retail for around $8.50.
