I am out of new Takko Lacquer shades to share with you, so back to some previous releases. I still have a few sample shades from the 2017 Black Friday sale that I haven't shared yet. This pretty, pretty color is Sample #5 which is pretty perfect for spring. (even though people are still getting fresh snow now) Let's take a look at this pink lovely!
Sample #5 - A flowery pink jelly base packed with fine silver holographic microflakies and shifty green shimmer. The shimmer in this polish is much more apparent in person than it is in my photos. It shifts from green to an more aqua color. Really pretty! The formula was slightly sheer and I needed three coats to get full opacity.
This sample shade is very similar to Watermelon Tourmaline but the shimmer is in that polish is more teal/blue compared to the green/aqua in this color. The flakies seem a little finer in the sample shade, too. Both are stunning!
The sample shades from 2017 are no longer available. But please try and find some of them in destashes. If you cant find this one, look for the Watermelon Tourmaline as it is very close. Takko Lacquer should be having a restock of spring shades in the future. Be sure to follow them on social media for announcements of restocks and new releases.
