Yellow Funky French

I did something a little bit different for me today: this is a funky french with China Glaze Sun-Kissed and China Glaze Orange You Hot? from the summer 2012 neon collection. I can't believe both of these sat in my untrieds for so long. Sun-Kissed is a bright neon yellow shimmer and it practically glows its so neon! I used two coats here and still had visible nail line (but I didn't add another coat since I was going to do the french tip). I also used two coats of Orange You Hot? for the tips, and this one was nice and opaque. Orange You Hot? is a nice tangerine-hued orange shimmer.

More photos after the break!

Even though I haven't tried them all out yet, I'm very happy that I purchased the whole collection of Summer Neons. The shimmer makes them so gorgeous and opaque I can't help but be in love with every one I try.

The colors were notoriously hard to capture, and in reality Sun-Kissed has more of a greenish tinge to it. I don't photoshop any of my photos so the color is only as good as my camera can manage!

I'm running out of time to wear neon nail polish as summer slowly comes to an end. It's still hot here in South Carolina (93F/34C yesterday) but I'm definitely ready for the fall! Fall colors, jeans and long sleeves, and Halloween are all calling to me. :)
