Today, we are going to take a look at a very special takkito. "Salient" is one of the newest released from Takko Lacquer. For Valentine's Day this year, Sheryl released a little trio and then this polish was added in as a special extra. This was Sheryl's wedding polish! She has just recently married and created this polish to wear on her special day. Congrats, girl!
"Salient" is a delicate topper polish with a mix of actual real silver flakies in different sizes as well as some silver shimmer in a clear base. I tried to get this opaque on it own but I think it works best as a topper. It is just to beautiful! It would go great over any color but I paired it with my collaboration shade, "McTakko" for these photos. I have one coat over McTakko and the 4 coats over the bare nail here. You can still see my nail line so it wasn't fully opaque on it's own for me. This is all topped with a glossy top coat because the Vitamin E infused base of Takko can dry a little dull. Plus, you need to shine to make those little silver flakes look like tiny mirror shards on your nails!
