Zoya Shawn

Do you ever have a color that you adore in the bottle but never seem to like on your nails? That's me with Zoya Shawn. I always have a love-hate relationship with green nail polish. Green is my favorite color, but I don't like wearing it on my nails. I love everything about this color, it's a beautiful shade of green, and the formula is smooth and dreamy. What more could a girl want?

Zoya Shawn is a dark yellow-toned green creme, and it reminds me of a cross between an olive green and a forest green. Shawn tends to look lighter in photographs than it does in person due to the bright lights bloggers use to photograph their polishes. (Keep that in mind if you are considering purchasing Shawn!) The formula was a perfect smooth consistency. I used two coats and no topcoat for the photos below, it's super shiny without topcoat.

So why don't I like wearing Shawn? I'm still not sure of that. I think it's more yellow than I expect it to be, and it makes my skin look sallow.
