Sorry for falling short on posts this past week. I was super busy with work and then went to Chicago for The Polish Convention aka PolishCon! This was the inaugural event and it was a blast. I met so many polish people and brought home a huge haul of exclusive indie polishes. I sported a Takko Lacquer manicure to the event. Gotta represent!
So, for Takko Tuesday today, we are looking at an oldie but a goodie. I snagged "Lemon Macaroon" in a blog sale a little while ago. It is an older, original takkito but still had a smooth formula. The base is a pale yellow jelly with a touch of green. There is a golden microfleck shimmer and shifty red/orange shimmer. It is definitely yellow but can look more green in certain lights. The formula is a little on the sheer side but not terribly streaky as most yellow polishes can be. I am showing you three coats with a glossy top coat. I dig it!
This color is not available at the moment. It may make a return in the future as Sheryl likes to bring back older shades from time to time. This week, Takko Lacquer is having a restock. You can get the anniversary polishes and popular summer and fall shimmers. Restock is Sept 23rd!
