Inspired by a Pattern for the #31DC2017Weekly

Hi all!

I hope all my fellow Floridians are weathering this storm well.  It's a doozy!  I have another look for you all as I try to quickly catch up with the #31DC2017Weekly.  I did some plaid nails!  I love stamping now I know why I stay away from straight lined designs.  They are difficult to line up correctly.  Especially if you can't get a clear jelly stamper to work for you.  Some of these are a little but I don't think it is noticeable much in real life.

I started with a base of Zoya "Jill" which is a mauve nude creme.  Then I used the Born Pretty Store Harunouta L010 plate and China Glaze "Crimson" to stamp on the plaid design.  Next, I used a thin striper brush and Maybelline "Bold Gold" for the gold stripes.  And to jazz it up, I did a little pinkie bling with Zoya "Tomoko".

Here is a look at the Born Pretty Store plate.  There are a lot of nice designs here to create even more plaid and sweater nail looks.  They stamp quite nicely, too!  I have tried several of the designs and they worked perfectly.

In the end, I am very pleased with how this manicure turned out.  It makes me want to perfect my straight line stamping.  Only a few weeks left in the challenge :)  Be sure to check out the tag #31DC2017Weekly tag on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter

  1. I like this one so much! :) I don't think I have a plate with plaid (haha) in my stash. Maybe need one now. ^^ And I don't know what it is but my clear jelly stampers all try to annoy me right now - really bad pick ups the last couple of times.
