OPI Sparrow me the Drama and Konad stamping

A while back I tried some Konad stamping, and this is my first successful mani! By successful I mean the first I would actually wear out in public. :)

I started with two coats of OPI Sparrow me the Drama, a dusty pink creme. Since I had just recently received my first set of Konad plates in the mail I felt the need to "dress up" my mani. I added flowers from the Konad plate m60. For the stamping polishes I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Co-Bolt Blue, Silver Sweep, and Whirlwind White. After some experimenting I found the Insta-Dry to work perfectly for stamping, especially since all of my Insta-Dri are about a year old and have thickened just enough to make them perfect.

Here was the mani with flowers on the accent nails

Then I layered on more flowers just to see how it would look.

The Konad plates I own (only 5 so far) are m29: Hawaiian, m27: fish, m60: patterns including argyle and flowers, m64: more patterns, and m73: patterns including an awesome sheet music themed pattern.

My personal favorite (as a marine biologist) is the m27 plate although I haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet!
