Fluff Friday: I just don't get it...

I'm sure in your quest for the perfect pedicure you've come across one of what I believe to be the strangest objects ever invented. Yep, you've guessed it, toe separators.

They come in a variety of styles, colors, patterns, and designs. You can buy them separate, get them in a pedicure kit, or even buy special sandals with attached toe separators.

Personally, I don't understand the purpose of these strange looking objects. Do they actually help you to paint your toenails? Is it something only necessary for people with particular foot/toe shapes? Does it feel good? I just don't know. I received these as a gift and will probably re-gift them because I've never needed them in the past. Why start now? :)

What is your opinion, do you use toe separators for your pedicures?

  1. I use toe separators because the toe by my little toe tends to over lap the little one. But, I hate them. I find that they tend to stretch the toes apart too far so after a while they hurt a bit...

  2. I'm usually already contorting so hard to twist and reach all my toes that a separator would just complicate things even more. ;p

  3. I dislike toe separators. They do nothing to make a pedicure easier for me so I just don't bother. Who invented them btw?
