Takko Tuesday! - Sweet Cheeks

Happy Takko Tuesday!

Tonight, I have a brand new takkito to share with you.  The Valentine's collection launches yesterday and this cool thermal polish was one of them.  "Sweet Cheeks" is a peachy nude creme that shifts to a rosy mauve when cold.  It really does look like blushing cheeks when the shift happens.  The warm color is not a perfect skin tone shade as it is a little yellow, but when it is transition to the colder pinker shade it is very pretty.  Transition was easy it didn't take extreme measures to shift.  I was pretty cold in my house when I did these swatches.  When my hands were warm the color was warm and then as my hands got colder the nice shift happened.  I like the rosy mauve color that it is in it's cold state the best.  So wearing this color in the winter/spring would be perfect.  It's subtle and work appropriate but still girly and special.  The formula was nice and not gritty like some thermals can be.  I used two thick coats with a glossy top coat.  If you do thinner coats than I do, you will likely need three for full opacity.   Let's take a look at "Sweet Cheeks" from Takko Lacquer in its transition from warm to cold.
