I have something a little different to share with you all today.  For the Black Friday sale this year, Takko Lacquer had a limited number of sample bags for sale.  There were three random polishes in each bag that were previous samples or unreleased polishes from the year.  Some of the shades were never before seen polishes and some of the shades for prototypes for polishes that were released with different elements.  The selection was random for each package.  I was able to snag some sample shades and wanted to share them with you all!  "2017 Sample #1" is a shade that was nor previously released.  Hopefully, we will see something similar to this polish in the future!

2017 Sample #1 - A blackened jelly base packed with fine silver holographic microflakies and a rainbow of jewel toned metallic flakies.  This looks like rainbow galaxy nails!  The black jelly base is a nice contract for the metallic flakies to pop against.  It isn't too opaque so it allows that flakies to shine through the layers.  The base is a little on the sheer side but I was happy with the coverage after just two coats.  If you have longer nails, you will likely want a third coat.  This looks great with a glossy top coat and a matte top coat.  I am showing you both ways in my macro shots!

I am digging this sample shade!  It is not the most unique jelly/flakie polish I have seen but I do love the final look very much.  Plus, that matte top coat looks super cool over those flakies!  This sample sale polish is not currently available on the Takko Lacquer site but you should definitely check out destashes.  I have seen many sample shades up for grabs in the past few weeks.  Happy hunting!
