Maple Holistics Assuage Beard Oil

Hello friends!

I know...you are probably a little confused as to why I would be talking about Beard Oil today.  But it totally makes sense, I swear!  I was asked by Maple Hoslistics if I wanted to review any of their natural and organic beauty products.  So, I took a look at their shop and the beard oil really called my name.  This is probably because I am a little amorous of men with facial hair.  All men look better with a little scruff in my opinion.  (hey you, you bearded hunk...if you are reading this and love a lady with painted nails...call me. haha!)  Okay, but seriously, it was the ingredients of the beard oil that sealed the deal.  Beard hair and nails are both keratinized and benefit from the same types of moisturizers.  The ingredients of the Assuage Beard Oil are very similar to some of my favorite cuticle oils.  It contains these essential oils: Jojoba, Grapeseed, Sweet Almond, Coconut, Abyssinian, Sunflower, Avocado, Rosemary, Lemon, Lavender and Vitamin E.  I started using this oil on my nails and cuticles at night after doing my manicure.  Oh my!  I have to say...I'm in love.  It soaked in perfectly and was not overly greasy.  The scent is quite pleasant.  It was subtle and full of my favorite herbal scents (rosemary, lemon and lavender).  I look a photo of my nails after using it for a few days and then after using it for 10 days.  There is nothing on my nails in these photos except for the oil.  I am so happy with the way it made my nails, cuticles and the skin around my nails look.  I give this product and A+ and I think they should market it as a cuticle oil as well.  Now if only I could find a beard to rub this oil in and have it do double duty moisturizing my nails!

They also sent a little quad pack of natural lip balms.  They came in 4 scents: Vanilla, Pomegranate, Peppermint and Acai Berry.  All of the scents are great but I have been using the Pomegranate and Peppermint ones frequently.  They are both very smooth and last a long time.  They did not leave a waxy residue like many other natural lip balms.  They are keepers!
