Lilypad Lacquer Trio for Color4Nails

Hello!

I have a small little trio of shifty polishes to share with you all today.  They are from Lilypad Lacquer, which is an indie nail polish company out of Australia.  They have created a trio of polishes to be sold exclusively out of my favorite US stockist, Color4Nails.  There have been many Color4Nails exclusives lately and I am loving all of the wonderful shades and finishes.  When I first saw this trio, I though it looked a a little drab for Spring. Then I realized where they came from and right now, it is Autumn in Australia.  So these are perfect for that time of year there!  These three shades are flakie filled and super shifty.  They look pretty interesting on the nail, so let's take a look!

"Love Me or Leave Me" has a brownish/reddish jelly base with lots of golden to green shifty shimmer and is sprinkled with green/orange/copper shifting flakes.  These brown and green shimmer polishes always look blah in the bottle but once I get them on my nails I really love them.  The formula was pretty nice.  I did two thickish coats here topped with a glossy top coat and then a matte macro.

"Guilty Pleasure" is another one of those ugly-pretty shades that lots of people love (including me).  This has a murky green jelly base with shifty coppery/pink microshimmer and small ultrachrome flakies.  There is a lot going on with this shimmer!  But it looks really cool with both a glossy and a matte top coat.  I did two thickish coats here.

"Break the Rules" is such a chameleon!  This shade has a sheer, blackened teal jelly base that has an awesome duo chrome effect.  It shifts from bright purple to greenish teal.  And then there are the rainbow of ultrachrome flakies throughout.  I took some photos straight on with my regular lighting and then I took some with two lighting sources at different angles to show off the shift.  I did three thin/normal coats with both a glossy and then a matte top coat here.

So, what do you think of this little trio?  These polishes are exclusive to Color4Nails.  You can only get them from that stockist.  They have international shipping with great rates.  They retail for $14 each.  There does not appear to be a listing with all three polishes in it, so you will need to get them individually.  A little deceiving in the bottle, but really beautiful on the nails.
