I am once again joined by my lovely friend, Lotte, for Takko Tuesday this week!  We are looking at another new takkito from the Late Summer 2017 Collection.  This one is definitely more of a fall shade and is perfect for the weather right now.  I am having to wear a light jacket here in Florida!

Do you love holos?  Do you love fall colors?  Well then you are going to love this collection from Pahlish.   They always to great holographic shades during the Halloween season (2015 and 2016) but they are great for the entire fall and winter season.  The polish names in this collection are all based on the ever awesome Nightmare Before Christmas movie.  This set of 8 new shades is limited edition and I am a little behind in getting them out to you.  So we had better get right into the swatches, right?

On this fine Tuesday, I am joined by Lotte from Marzipany to look at Takko Lacquer's latest contribution to the Holo Hookup Box.  This was from the September 2017 box last month, so it is not available for purchase anymore.  But you can definitely find it in a destash if you are interested in it.  Tako Lacquer has participated in the Holo Hookup box in the past...hopefully we will see more takkitos in future boxes!

Did you guys get all of the polishes you wanted in the Takko Lacquer restock this past Friday?  There are still many polishes available on the site still.  One of them is "Oh Love!" which is a new shade from the Late Summer 2017 Collection.  It is a great transition shade from Summer to Autumn.  The base is a bright olive green crelly that has a pink shimmer that shifts between purple and gold at certain angles.  This polish is both murky and bright at the same time.  Most would put this color in the ugly-pretty category which people either love or hate.  I love shades like this!  Especially in the fall time.  That pop of pink shimmer is quite lovely.  I am showing you two coats with a glossy top coat.  You may like a third coat if your nails are longer than mine.

Well...I am back from vacation (sad face).  But I am excited to share more pretty polishes with you all!  As I have said many times before, Native War Paints makes some of my most favorite shimmers out there.  They always have interesting color combinations and nice formula.  The Turquoise Carnival Collection is a group of 6 polishes that all have a nice turquoise shimmer running through them.  The colors can look a little similar but they are all beautiful.  Let's take a look at #datshimmer!

Did you hear that Takko Lacquer is having a restock this Friday?  They will have the Late Summer Collection and the Metallics in Poetry Trio available.  "Limonada" is a new polish from the Late Summer collection that you will be able to pick up.  She is a bright lemon yellow creme with soft aqua microshimmer.  There is also a faint amount of silver microshimmer as well.  The yellow base is a flattering shade for many skin tones.  The formula is a little on the thick side with all of the shimmer packed into this polish but it was not difficult to work with.  It was actually pretty opaque for a yellow creme.  I did do three thinner coats to make sure everything was evened out.  It is all topped with glossy top coat.

I know that I am a day late, but I am still in Europe and didn't get to my computer yesterday.  So you get to see new Takkos on Wednesday instead. :)  We are going to take a look at "Hey Rosé" today.  This pretty pink neutral is from the latest collection, The Late Summer 2017 Collection.  She is a slightly warm toned medium pink neutral creme that has a nice ratio of rose gold metallic microflakies sprinkled in.  The pink on pink tone of this polish really has a nice effect.  You can see there is something special in there but you just aren't sure what it is.  It is a basic work-appropriate shade that has a little bit something extra.

Honor Nails you Love for the #31DC2017Weekly

It's the last day of the challenge!!  I just want to give a huge high five to all of the ladies that was continued with the challenge all of these 31 weeks.  I especially want to give a shout out to Lotte from marzipany.blogspot.com.  Not only has she done each of the challenges on time and perfectly, she is also hosting me in her home this week while I am on a Euro vacation.  She is amazing and if you are not following her by now...what are you waiting for?!?

For this last prompt of the challenge, we are supposed to honor nails that we love.  This can be recreating a manicure that you love, creating a nail art look inspired by another nail artist or just generally being inspired by another nail artists aesthetics.  For me, I have been obsessed with this one nail art look by Nina Nailed It.  It is fun and abstract and uses some of my favorite color combinations.  Plus, it is super easy but looks complicated.  My favorite!  Let't take a look :)

Inspired by a Tutorial for the #31DC2017Weekly

It's the last day of the challenge!!  OMG!  I have the last two challenges to share with you today.  I was able to do both of these nail looks while I am visiting Lotte in Germany.  For the 30th prompt, we are doing nails inspired by a tutorial.  I see so many ail tutorials every day, it was hard to choose.  But I was drawn to a manicure that So Nailicious did several weeks ago that also had a tutorial with it.  The tutorial was simple and I didn't really need to follow it, but it was a tutorial!  I really love how these fall tones came together.  Greens and brown are so in!  Let's take a look :)
