Remember me?  I know...I have been MIA for way too long.  But work and traveling got in the way and life was, well, life.  Plus, I was just in a blogging rut.  But I am hoping to get back into the swing of things for a stellar 2019!  So be prepared for a bunch of reviews of older collections in the future as I get through my back log of polishes.

Let's take a look at home new beauties for the holidays from Whimsical Ideas by Pam.  There are some very cute glitters in this collection.  Some can be worn as full manicures and other need undies.  Only one of them screams Christmas but the rest are great for year round wear.

It's February!  So that means it is time to break out off the the red and pink polishes.  Valentine's Day is a pretty lame holiday in my opinion.  But it is a nice excuse to get all cutesy with hearts and kisses decorations. Each year, I always see some great new polishes from Whimsical Ideas by Pam for the holiday.  I love Pam's collection because there is a mix of finishes and formulas to choose from.  In this collection, we have glitter toppers, sheers and super bling.  I am sure there will be at least one shade that everyone will like.  The Whimsical Valentines Collection 2018 is available now...so let's take a look!

Can you believe it is already December?  Where does the time go!?  Sounds like it's time for more holiday themed nail polish collections!  I have a cute little collection from Whimsical Ideas by Pam to share with you today.  This set of six polishes is a great mix of finishes and colors.  Something for everyone!  I think I say that with every Whimsies collection I review.  That is because Pam really likes to have creative mixes for collections.  I rarely see a collection of all of the same finish or theme with her polishes.  Let's take a look at what she has whipped up for us this holiday season!

Takko Tuesday! - Get Lucky

I have another awesome destash find to share today.  I am always looking for those lost little takkitos looking to join my army.  "Get Lucky" is an older Takko Lacquer shade from 2013.  It is one of the few glitter toppers that they have released.  "Get Lucky" is a clear based polish that is loaded with gold shimmer, holographic gold microglitters and a sprinkling of black microglitters.  This makes such a great glitter topper!  It would look fantastic over a variety of base colors.  Here, I am showing you one coat over "Rose Water" with glossy top coat.  You might be able to get this opaque enough on it's own with enough coats.  But I love it as a topper.  The extra black glitters really make this stand out from the hundreds of other gold holo glitter toppers I have in my collection.  I am so glad I found it!

Are you all ready for Christmas this weekend?  I am almost done with all of the shopping.  I am a professional procrastinator...so I wait until the last minute to do everything.  Just like getting these swatches out to you!  I have waited too long to share with you pretty polishes from the brand Kiara Sky.  I have seen this brand floating around Instagram for a while now but had never tried them myself.  They are known for their professional nail polishes, gel polishes and dip powder.  They have a nice core collection of colors.  I was sent a random selection of nail lacquers to try out and I was quite pleased with the formulas.  Let's take a look at some of their shades!

It's the most fun month of the year...October.  Why?  Because it's time for Halloween which is the most fun holiday of the year.  At least in my opinion it is.  What is more fun than dressing up in costumes and scaring people.  And you can wear orange the entire month which is a bonus for me.  I love orange :)  Every year, Pam puts out a super fun Halloween collection and this year is no different.  There are 7 Halloween and fall theme polishes in the Hallowhimsy collection that are sure to be crowd pleasers.  Let's take a look at them all!

This week's Takko Tuesday post is a little different as I am not just featuring one Takko Lacquer polish but an entire box of indie polishes including Takko Lacquer!  The newest Awesome Sauce Indie Box is out and Takko Lacquer is one of the guest makers.  This box is inspired by super heros which are actually more villainous...but we still root for them.  There are five polishes each from a different indie maker along with lot of fun little goodies to play with.  Ever After Polish, Lavish Polish and Anonymous Lacquer are joined by guest contributors Takko Lacquer and Parrot Polish this time around.  All of the polishes are gorgeous, dark and moody.  Perfect push into fall!  Let's tak a look at all of the goodies included in this quarter's box!

Today, we are taking a look at a new Summer collection from an indie brand that is very nostalgic for me.  Whimsical Ideas by Pam was one of the first indie brands that I bought from as a fledgling nail polish collector.  She had the cutest little bottles and always had really creative polishes.  I always look forward to seeing her new collections even though I haven't ordered from her in a while.  So, I was flattered when Pam asked me to review her new Summer 2016 Collection!  There are six polishes in this collection, all of them are a different finish.  They are available now to order, so let's take a look!

Let's talk about rainbows today.  Oh rainbows...so colorful and fun.  Nine Zero Lacquer has recently come out with a collection of rainbow inspired polishes that are just gorgeous.  There are 7 saturated linear holographic polishes and 3 glitters in this collection.  I am totally digging the holos here.  They are bright and really pop on the nail.  This collection is available right now.  There are a lot of photos to follow, so let's get into it!

Takko Tuesday! - XOXO

I have one of Takko Lacquer's glitter toppers to share with you tonight.  There are not many glitter toppers in my takkito stash as they really rock the shimmer polishes.  But this little topper is super fun and makes you feel like a rock star.  "XOXO" is a mix of holographic gold glitters and matte neon pink glitters of various sizes in a clear base.  The glitter payoff is quite good and I didn't have to fish for the larger neon pink hexes.  This really makes your nails sparkle..  I used one coat over a bright cobalt blue creme from P2 Cosmetics called "Working Woman" and the topped it all with KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

I do not know when/if this polish will be restocked,  So be sure to follow Takko Lacquer on all of their social media outlets to get the jump on upcoming restocks and new releases.  Yay!  Takkos!
