I am once again running low on takkos to share with you! I was able to snag a very old shade that had a limited release in a destash a few months ago. It is super bright! "Bright Young Things" originally was released in the Summer 2013 collection and I do not know if it was released again after that. I definitely don't see it around the internet much. But because it is a yellow shade, it would be one that would show up in destashes. So keep your eye out!
Bright Young Things - A neon yellow creme with bright yellow shimmer. This ish is fluorescent! The yellow shade is more yellow than green and super bright. The shimmer is very fine and subtle but does give the polish a little more glow. I like this shade of yellow more against my skin tone than a true highlighter yellow like China Glaze Celtic Sun. No white base needed here. This is three coats on it's own. If I had my typical nubs, I would have been happy with just two coats. It does dry down a little dull, so a nice shiny top coat is recommended.
What do you think of this bright ass yellow? I would love to see this shade come back next summer. It is a nice yellow and still applied perfectly after all these years. If you want to get your hands on some current Takkos, head over the shop and fill up your cart!
