Sorry for the lack of takkos last week while I was on vacation. But I am back this week to show you another new Takko Lacquer! The Spring takkos that were up for preorder should be making their way to grabby hands soon. The first installment of the Zodiac Collection are part of them. Today, we are going to look at Aries!
Aries - A deep, dark, blackened red jelly base packed with hex microglitters that shift from red to green and fine holographic microshimmer. This is a vampy little shifter! The glitters in this polish look like glowing embers and shift nicely at an angle. The jelly base is squishy enough to let the glitter shine through but still dark and opaque enough to cover the nail. I am showing you two coats with glossy top coat here.
I had to change up the lighting so I could show you the shifting glitters. The previous photos were taken under a single direct light source. The new two photos were taken under two light sources at different angles. Check out the green shift in the macro!
As I said previously, the preorder for this polish should be heading out soon (or already in people's hands). Once all of the preorders are out, Takko Lacquer will announce a restock on the Spring shades and possibly some info on future new shades.
