Nail Haul!

I got my order from Head2ToeBeauty today with a bunch of China Glaze polishes.

From left to right:
Riveting and Electrify (Capital Colors). Fifth Avenue, Exceptionally Gifted and Strawberry Fields. Dorothy Who? and Grape Pop.
Here is another quick swatch of something green for today. This is Sally Hansen HD Hi-Def over top of China Glaze Holly Day. Hi-Def is a sheer shimmery neon green that usually takes 3-4 coats. This is two coats over Holly Day and the resulting color is a beautiful glowing green. With the more blue-tone of Holly Day, Hi-Def almost looks like a blue-green duochrome, but it's not.

Brush strokes were a little bit visible, but not obvious in real life.

Bring on the Green! China Glaze Holly Day

China Glaze Holly Day is from the Let it Snow collection (holiday 2011). I got this as part of the Santa's Little Helpers set on sale after the holidays.

Holly Day is a dark green creme with flawless application and simple beautiful color. Two coats to streak-free incredibly glossy shine.

The color is in perfect balance and soooo shiny! You can almost see my reflection.

Perfect for your favorite green occasion: Christmas or St. Patrick's day!

Quick Swatch! Nicole by OPI One Big Happy Fame-ily

I was looking for a good spring color today and I picked up One Big Happy Fame-ily, a light lavender purple shimmer.

One Big Happy Fame-ily is from Nicole by OPI's lacquers inspired by the Kardashians, and is part of a collection called TV Ready Color available exclusively from CVS pharmacy.

This one applied nicely and was opaque with three coats. It is simple and pretty in both sun and shade.

(Disclaimer, this is another fast swatch without a chance for decent cleanup. I apologize!)

A-England Saint George (Photo Heavy)

A-England Saint George came out with The Legend collection this January. This is the only polish I picked out from the collection after seeing swatches and I couldn't be happier!

Sadly I didn't get any photos in the sun because I volunteered for our local green garden the next morning and spent several hours happily digging in the dirt without gloves. The polish lasted remarkably well in the garden, but it was too scuffed up to take any pictures (not to mention how incredibly dirty my hands were!)

I just can't get enough of this polish, I must have taken 50 pictures trying to capture just how beautiful it is. Saint George is a dark teal with a very subtle holo, it also has blue and green shimmery micro-glitter.

Subtle holo from my thumbnail.

I can't express how much I love this polish!
