I have a gorgeous little holiday trio to share with you tonight from a new indie brand. Nine Zero Lacquer is the brain child of a favorite nail polish YouTuber of mine, Jessface90. If you have never seen her live application swatch videos before, you are missing out. Jessica has been around the indie nail polish scene for a while now, so she has seen all of the trends and all of the formula issues that other polishes have had. This previous indie knowledge really shows because her brand new indie line is pretty freaking perfect. I have purchase a handful of her polishes from her inaugural collection and they were the quality you would expect from a veteran indie polish brand. No joke. So, I was super thrilled to be asked to review her holiday collections and I can't wait to share them with you!
"Stuffed" is a gold holographic microglitter in a clear base. This one is super sparkly! Not only are there tiny gold glitters in micro form and small/tiny form, but there is also a sprinkling of cranberry, orange and copper microglitters, too. The formula was on the thicker side from all the glitters but still very easy to apply. You can use this both as a topper and a stand alone polish. I used one coat over Zoya Louise and then three coats alone on my two middle fingers. I used Nine Zero Lacquer's "No Time To Waste" quick dry top coat for all of these swatches.
"Cranberry Sauced" is a cranberry jelly polish jam packed with gold holographic microglitter. This is a great shade for fall and the Thanksgiving season. Application was smooth and the jelly base covered the glitters well. I used two coats with the Nine Zero Lacquer top coat. You can still see my visible nail line a tiny bit. So if you have longer nails than mine, you might want to do three coats.
"Turkey Coma" is a copper linear holographic that has a little bit of a rose gold quality. The rainbows shooting out of this polish is crazy! This was quite opaque, like you would expect from a metallic polish. I used two coats with the Nine Zero Lacquer glossy top coat but I probably could have gotten away with one thick coat. I can't wait to try this baby for stamping!
What do you think of this little Thanksgiving trio? I love it! This released on Friday, Nov 13th and immediately sold out. Jessica will be restocking this again on Wednesday, Nov 18th at 11am EST. Set an alarm because it looks like Nine Zero Lacquer is on high demand. (can you blame them? theses polishes are awesome) The polishes retail for $9.50 each or you can purchase the entire trio for $26. Make sure to follow Nine Zero Lacquer on social media to stay up to date on restocks and new releases.
