Decisions Decisions...

Decisions... decisions...

I have decided that I want one of the awesome gold/green/blue multichromes that seem popular all of the sudden, ever since Chanel Peridot, but which one do I want to buy? I'm going to try to wait until May to purchase any more polish... so I have some time to contemplate.

Chanel Peridot

Pros:
The original trend-setter.
Named after by birthstone (which I love).
Available at a local store (no shipping $$)
Cons:
at $25 this is the most expensive of the options.

Deborah Lippmann Swagga Like Us

Pros:
Also a very good brand.
Brighter more vivid gold.
Available at a local store (no shipping $$)
(Unimportant) I love Deborah Lippmann bottles, they're so pretty.
Cons:
Cost, at $18 this one is the next most expensive.

OPI Just Spotted the Lizard

Pros:
I am in love with OPI polishes because of their fantastic formulas.
OPI is the most affordable of the options (usually around $8)
Cons:
I haven't seen many reviews of this color yet to know much...
I can't buy new OPI polishes locally so I would have to pay shipping.

Jessica Iridescent Eye

Pros:
This one looks very similar to Deborah Lippmann, although some comparisons say it's a dead ringer for Chanel.
Cons:
Seems to run around $15
I will have to pay shipping fees.

Ozotic 507

Pros:
I really want to try Ozotic polish because they look so fantastic!
This one is the most yellow-gold of the bunch.
I'm not positive if this was the first green/gold/blue multichrome, but I know Ozotic has been doing fabulous polishes for a while.
Cons:
Ozotic is harder to obtain and would probably cost me around $25
I have no idea how much shipping will cost...
Reviews say this has a difficult formula.

I thought this would be a quick post to write but looks like I was mistaken! What do you think? Do you own any/all of these polishes?

Note: All pictures in this post come from various websites selling the products. I claim no ownership of these pictures.

  1. I'm having a similar problem! My local OPI seller says they'll have Lizard "any day now," but Peridot is in stock literally downstairs from my apartment. It's a waiting game to see if my self-restraint can hold out long enough, or if I'm going to cave and buy the Chanel.

    1. I know! It's horrible. I found Jessica Iridescent Eye on a blog sale and it's in the mail, but I almost drove straight to the Gap when I found out they have a dupe as well (it's called Gold Rush, and although I've heard it has a bad formula it's only $6..)
