Pretty Serious Martian Sea

More polish from the fantastic Pretty Serious Cosmetics! I'm not sure if I've mentioned this yet, but Pretty Serious is rapidly becoming my favorite indie brand. Not only are the polish fabulous and unique, but they have superb customer service!

I've seen Martian Sea described as one of those pretty ugly colors, and I have to say I agree. It's absolutely fascinating, and I couldn't stop staring at my nails when I wore Martian Sea. I'm not usually a fan of any polish that looks brown, yet somehow I love this.

It's a red/orange toned brown with incredibly sparkly greenish yellow shimmer. It feels like it can't decide if it wants to be orange, red, or brown, but on me it's somehow very warm and flattering. The formula was absolutely perfect, not too thick or thin, but buttery smooth. It practically applied itself to my nails. It was very dense and almost opaque in one coat, I used two for the photos below.

This polish is absolutely unique in my collection and gorgeous. The longer I wore it for the more I loved it. Like I said, I normally don't care for brown polish, but isn't this beautiful?

Pretty Serious polishes retail for $9.95 AUD (which is about $10 USD, it varies with the exchange rate) and shipping is very reasonable, (and usually very fast) since they have a US shipping center. Pretty Serious Polishes are also available from Llarowe for $12 USD.

If you are in the United States and considering ordering, I highly suggest checking the exchange rate, the last time it was about $2 less for me to order directly from Pretty Serious in Australia than from Llarowe!
