Zoya Blaze

To quote one of my favorite notepads, "Hard work often pays off after time, but laziness always pays off now." This quote pretty much sums up how I've felt about blogging lately. I used to love blogging, but then it became something that needed to get done every day, just another item on a never ending to-do list. After taking a few weeks off and majorly slacking lately I think I've got my groove back, who knows what threw it off in the first place, but I should have him thrown out the window (bonus points to anyone who gets this Disney reference!)

Today I've got the glorious Zoya Blaze. This was my top pick from the Zoya Ornate collection from winter 2012, which I sadly didn't manage to photograph until recently. Blaze is drop dead gorgeous!

Blaze is a rich, deep, berry-toned red with a scattered holographic finish. The formula on Blaze is very good, it had a perfectly smooth application. The polish base is a deep jelly, so while it is completely opaque in two coats, by adding a third coat you can really bring out the dark rich berry shade. The photos below show two coats.

I just adore Blaze, although it feels like a winter color to me and I might not be wearing it much this summer. I do, however, love rich deep colors like Blaze for my pedicures all year long!

Again, I apologize for disappearing off the face of the blogosphere lately!

    1. It's worth living on your wishlist, Blaze truly is a gorgeous color! Nothing beats a scattered holographic in my book though. :)
