Cirque Colors - The Meta Collection

Hi folks!

Tonight, I have some color shifty awesomeness to share with you!  This month, Cirque Colors released a limited edition collection of multichrome polishes all packed with some shifty microflakies.  I was having major issues trying to choose which photos to use in this post.  There were just so many to choose from!  Some with direct lighting, some with dual lighting, macros, bottle shots....so many!  I picked out a few that I thought displayed the shiftiness of these polishes.  I used two different light sources at different angles to get all of the colors to shine.  Let's take a look!

"Ghost in the Machine" is a gorgeous mermaid color.  The base is a deep teal green that shifts to deep blue then to purple.  You can see all the little flakies that make up this polish in the macro.  They give it a nice shimmery quality.  I used two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch.

"Cabaret Voltaire" is a classic multichrome shade.  The base is a deep purple that shifts to red then to a fiery orange.  There are some magenta to orange shifty microflakies that you can really see in the macro.  Just two coats for full opacity with a glossy top coat for this swatch.

"Some Great Reward" is such a stunner!  This is a deep gold with a green shift.  There are some silvery looking microflakies in this one, check out the macro.  The shiftiness of this shade is not as strong or obvious as the others in this collection but it sure does glow on the nails.   It definitely looks more green in indirect lighting and more of a blackened gold in direct light.  You will will either love or hate this one.  I love it!  I used two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch.

"Version Infinity" is a lovely deep blue multichrome.  This shifts from royal blue to deep purple to magenta.  Another classic shifter here.  Take a look at the blue microflakies in the macro!  I used two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch.

"Techno Manifesto" is a dark magenta base that shifts through gold to green.  The contrast of the magenta and green is really striking.  I used two coats with a glossy top coat for this swatch.  My macro came out a little cool toned, but it showed the green shift the best.

So which of these mutlichromes can you not live without?  For me...it's "Some Great Reward" for sure.  I have a few other multichromes in my collection and they are pretty sheer and look better over a black base.  These guys were opaque in just two coats which I love.  The shimmer really adds something extra too.  These polishes are limited edition.  So when they sell out, your are out of luck.  Be sure to snag your favorites before it is too late.

I hope you like these as much as I did!

    1. I know exactly what you mean. But these do offer something a little different with the shimmer.
