We are quickly reaching the end of the Road to Polish Con series. And that is because The Polish Convention is less than a month away! Happy Takko Tuesday!
So...what did you guys snag up during the pre-order this past weekend? There were lots of fun new shades to choose from. Hopefully, you added "Boys Tears" to your cart. This is a truly awesome polish....probably my favorite from the Late Summer 2017 Collection. "Boys Tears" is a slightly teal leaning medium blue creme packed with metallic rose gold microflakies. So cool!

Hello!
I am still trying to catch up with the challenge. I am determined to finish on time :) For this prompt, we are doing manicures inspired by a movie. Last year, I did a Disney movie and it seems that I have been inspired once again by a Disney movie. Peter Pan is a classic. Who doesn't want to be a kid forever? My manicure today was specifically inspired by the scene where Peter Pan takes the Darling children to Neverland. As they are flying over London, he give directions to this magical place. "Second star to the right, then straight on til morning." As a lover of space, I always felt a connection to those directions.

Today, I have a delightful little quad to share with you all fro Pahlish. The Afternoon Tea Collection is very light and delicate which makes it seem more like a spring collection but these beautiful crellies can be worn year round. I have always liked the combo of multichrome flakies mixed into crelly bases. If you are like me, then you will love these four. The color combos are interesting and the added shimmer make them pop. Let's take a look!

Happy Takko Tuesday!
How awesome was that eclipse?!? It was a truly amazing experience for me and I hope that you will all get to witness a total eclipse in person once in your life. I spent the day staring at the sun, so what better polish to share with you today than "My Sun" by Takko Lacquer? This is one of the brand new polishes being released for preorder this week. The Metallics in Poetry Trio is three holographic metallic shades that go perfectly together. There is a gold, a silver and a rose metallic in the trio. Today, we are going to look closer at the gold offering. Sneak peek of the trio at the end of this post.

Happy Eclipse!!
Okay...I know. I am so behind on the #312017Weekly it is shameful. But I am going to catch up so quickly, don't you worry. My lovely partner, Lotte, has kept up right on track. She is awesome. I left off at "Inspired by a Song" and I am currently in South Carolina in the direct path of the Great American Eclipse. There is only one song that could be my inspiration today and that is Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tylor. She is actually going to sing this song live tomorrow for the eclipse! The eclipse is a big deal for my and my fam. We have always been engaged in the celestial happenings. We all converged onto a little lake house in the Carolinas in the direct path of totality to witness this awesome event. Why not have awesome nails to commemorate the day?

Hi friends!
I have a wonderful collection of goregous shimmers to share with you all today. Native War Paints consistently produces qaulity shimmer shades that I just love. Everyone love them! The newest collection is a group of 6 nude polishes with interesting shimmers in each. Some of the shimmers are very fine while others are a little more robust. All gorgeous though! And the formula are nice and smooth and a little bit squishy (which I like). The Nude Attitude Collection is available for preorder right now, so let's go ahead and look at them all.

I can't believe summer is practically over! I also can't believe how long it has taken me to get this review out to you all. The newest collection from KBShimmer is amazing! They have created a brand new finish called Holo Glow Flake. It is slightly metallic, super shimmery and packed with soft holographic flakies. These polishes to have a certain glow-from-within quality to them. The Summer Vacation Collection has a wide range of bright colors perfect for summer and will make you not want to go back to school. Let's take a look!

I have some fun little jelly polish to share with you today. Ever After Polish has just released a collection of jelly polishes packed with shifting crystal chameleon flakies. They can be worn alone and as toppers. And of course, you need to use a matte top coat with theses. That's what we do with jellies and flakies! Let's that a look at the Flake It Up Jelly Collection!

Happy Takko Tuesday!
I am slowly but surely collection those last few takkitos to make my collection complete. (insert meme of Ariel and nail polish here) I was able to snag Takko Lacquer shade that I have been pining over for years. And she is just as beautiful in real life as I hoped shed would be! "Marie Antoinette" is a classic takko shimmer. This originally came out in 2013 I believe can was in a collection of other great shades with a similar Marie Antoinette inspiration. I was always drawn to this shade because it had that contrasting shimmer that Takko Lacquer has become known for.

I am still destash hunting looking for those last few polishes to complete my Takko Lacquer collection. I found a few more. Today, we are going to take a look at "Wooster St." I am not exactly sure when Wooster St. first released. I want to say fall of 2014 but I could be wrong. It is fun multichrome microflakie with a slightly grayed out base and fine holographic sparkle. The main colors of these metallic microflakies is teal but will shift from blue to teal to purple to magenta. You can wear it in one coat over a base color or you can build it up to full opacity on it's own. Today, I am showing you it in three coats on it's own. Both with glossy and matte top coats.
